About the Role
A forward-thinking school in a vibrant community in Hertfordshire is seeking a dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant. This pivotal role involves providing comprehensive support to young learners within our primary setting, fostering their early development and learning journey. We are looking for an individual available for various contract types, including long-term, short-term, daily supply, and permanent positions, with an immediate start preferred. You will play a crucial part in creating an engaging and nurturing environment for our youngest pupils, contributing to their foundational educational experiences.

Key Responsibilities
* Support the holistic learning and development of children in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
* Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering creative and stimulating educational activities.
* Provide tailored support to individual pupils or small groups, including those with special educational needs.
* Help maintain a safe, organised, and nurturing classroom environment conducive to early learning.
* Observe and record children's progress, feeding back effectively to the class teacher.
* Contribute to the positive ethos and community spirit of the school.

About You
* Possess demonstrable experience working within an Early Years Foundation Stage setting.
* Hold a genuine passion for supporting the development and wellbeing of young children.
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of connecting with children and colleagues.
* Demonstrate a patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach to learning.
* Be committed to promoting an inclusive environment and supporting pupils with diverse needs.
* Hold relevant qualifications or training suitable for a teaching assistant role.
