Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to primary pupils identified with SEMH needs.
* Implement effective de-escalation strategies to manage challenging behaviours calmly.
* Offer one-to-one and small group mentoring to promote pupil well-being.
* Actively build positive and trusting relationships with pupils and their families.
* Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and achieving their personal goals.
* Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment for all children.
About You
* You possess proven experience working with primary-aged children, particularly those with SEMH challenges.
* You demonstrate exceptional patience, empathy, and resilience in a dynamic educational setting.
* You are skilled in using effective communication to engage pupils and colleagues.
* You have a genuine passion for making a positive impact on young lives.
* You are proactive, adaptable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
* You understand the unique developmental needs of primary school pupils.
