About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable SEN Supply Teacher to join a flourishing school that champions inclusive education. This dynamic role involves providing essential cover for both planned and unforeseen absences, ensuring continuity of learning for pupils in a specialist secondary setting. You will work across diverse adapted curriculum areas, supporting pupils with a wide range of special educational needs from an immediate start on daily supply and short-term contracts.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and accessible lessons tailored to pupils with varying special educational needs.
* Cultivate a positive and supportive learning atmosphere that promotes pupil engagement and well-being.
* Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and adjust teaching methodologies to meet specific pupil requirements.
* Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants and support staff to maximise pupil progress and support.
* Maintain accurate records of pupil attendance, progress, and any incidents in line with school policies.
* Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection, ensuring a safe environment for all pupils.

About You
* You possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrable experience within a secondary school environment.
* You have a proven track record of successfully teaching and supporting pupils with diverse special educational needs.
* A comprehensive understanding of different SEN provisions and effective strategies for inclusive teaching is essential.
* Your approach is highly flexible and adaptable, enabling you to seamlessly transition between various classroom settings and pupil groups.
* You exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, building strong rapport with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
* A genuine passion for nurturing the academic and personal growth of every pupil drives your professional practice.
