Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development.
* Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation and intellectual curiosity.
* Contribute actively to the development and implementation of departmental schemes of work and resources.
* Participate in wider school activities, including extracurricular clubs and school events.
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievement, and behaviour in line with school policies.
About You
* You hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
* You possess a genuine passion for English and the ability to convey this enthusiasm to young people.
* You are adept at differentiating instruction to meet the needs of all learners, including those with special educational needs.
* You demonstrate excellent classroom management skills, ensuring a productive and respectful learning environment.
* You are committed to your own professional development and eager to embrace new teaching methodologies.
* Applications are welcomed from Early Career Teachers (ECTs), as well as experienced teachers at Main Pay Scale (MPS) and Upper Pay Scale (UPS) levels.
