About the Role
Join our vibrant primary school community in Corby, where we are actively seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to become an integral part of our team within a innovative school. This essential role involves fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for pupils with special educational needs, enabling every child to thrive academically and personally. We are open to discussing various flexible contract types, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, or permanent positions, to ensure a perfect fit for both you and our pupils starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide tailored support to primary pupils with a range of special educational needs, both individually and in small groups.
• Assist teachers in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons, adapting materials as required.
• Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and Education Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) effectively.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all children feel valued.
• Support pupils' social, emotional, and physical development throughout the school day.
• Monitor and record pupil progress, communicating observations to the class teacher.

About You
• Possess a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs in a primary setting.
• Demonstrate experience working with primary-aged pupils, particularly those requiring additional support.
• Hold excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with pupils, staff, and parents.
• Exhibit patience, empathy, and resilience when facing challenges.
• Be proactive, adaptable, and a committed team player.
• Show a commitment to continuous professional development in the field of SEN.
