We are currently seeking dedicated individuals for a range of flexible contracts, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, and permanent positions, starting ASAP.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to secondary students on the autism spectrum, both individually and in small groups.
* Implement strategies to facilitate effective social communication and interaction.
* Proactively manage and respond to students' sensory needs within the learning environment.
* Assist with adapting learning materials and strategies to ensure full curriculum access for all.
* Collaborate closely with teaching staff to maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
* Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous development.
About You
* You possess demonstrable experience supporting young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ideally within a secondary setting.
* An empathetic, patient, and resilient approach is at the core of your professional practice.
* You are adept at implementing personalised support strategies to meet diverse individual needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with students and colleagues.
* A proactive and flexible mindset, ready to adapt to varying classroom dynamics and student requirements.
