About the Role
A well-established school in the vibrant South East of England is seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated educator to join a thriving secondary department in Braintree, Essex. We are looking for an individual to inspire students with a love for literature and language on a long-term, permanent contract. The successful candidate will contribute to a dynamic learning environment, starting from September or potentially sooner. Remuneration for this pivotal role will be paid to scale, reflecting your experience and commitment.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and challenging English lessons across the secondary curriculum.
* Plan and prepare high-quality learning experiences that cater to diverse student needs.
* Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every student feels valued.
* Contribute to the ongoing development of the English department's curriculum and resources.
* Participate actively in departmental meetings and wider school initiatives.

About You
* You possess qualified teacher status (QTS) and demonstrable experience teaching English at secondary level.
* Applications are warmly welcomed from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as more experienced educators (MPS/UPS).
* Your passion for English literature and language is evident in your teaching practice.
* You demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to student progress.
* The ability to inspire and motivate young people to achieve their full potential is crucial.
* You are a collaborative team player, eager to contribute to a supportive departmental culture.
