About the Role
An ambitious school in the East Midlands is seeking a compassionate and skilled SEN Class Teacher to enrich the lives of secondary pupils. This vital role involves delivering a thoughtfully adapted curriculum tailored to students with complex learning needs within supportive small group environments. We are open to discussions around various contract types, including long-term, short-term, daily supply, or permanent arrangements, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, adapted lessons across a general curriculum for secondary pupils.
* Provide dedicated support to students with a range of complex learning needs.
* Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where every pupil can thrive.
* Assess pupil progress effectively, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual requirements.
* Collaborate closely with teaching assistants and wider school community to support pupil development.
* Manage small group settings to maximise individualised learning opportunities.

About You
* You hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and are passionate about specialist education.
* You possess demonstrable experience working with secondary-aged pupils who have complex learning needs.
* You are adept at differentiating the curriculum to ensure accessibility for all learners.
* Your communication skills are excellent, fostering strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
* You are resilient, adaptable, and committed to making a tangible difference in students' lives.
* You are keen to contribute positively to a supportive school community and embrace professional growth.
