About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join a dynamic school in Chelmsford, commencing as soon as possible. This rewarding opportunity offers a competitive daily rate of £145 - £160 and provides options for long-term, daily supply, short-term, or permanent engagements, catering to your professional needs. You will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of learning across various subjects, ensuring a productive and respectful environment for all students in the secondary phase.

Key Responsibilities
* Supervise students effectively in the classroom, maintaining a calm and orderly atmosphere.
* Deliver pre-prepared work to classes, ensuring tasks are understood and completed.
* Manage classroom behaviour proactively and consistently, adhering to school policies.
* Foster a positive and supportive learning environment for all pupils.
* Respond to student queries and provide appropriate guidance during lessons.
* Report any issues or concerns to the relevant member of staff promptly.

About You
* You possess previous experience working with young people, ideally within a secondary school setting.
* You demonstrate excellent behaviour management techniques and classroom presence.
* You are highly adaptable and flexible, capable of responding to changing timetables.
* You communicate clearly and effectively with both students and staff.
* You approach challenges with a proactive and resilient attitude.
* You hold a genuine passion for contributing to student learning and development.
