About the Role
Join a dynamic school in Buckinghamshire as a 1:1 SEN Support Assistant, providing dedicated, tailored support to a secondary pupil with complex needs. This vital role involves meticulously following Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) targets, facilitating access to the curriculum, and actively promoting the development of independence and essential life skills. We are seeking a committed individual for a long-term, daily supply, or permanent contract, with an immediate start available and a competitive daily rate ranging from £85 to £110.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert 1:1 support for a secondary pupil presenting with complex special educational needs.
* Implement and meticulously track progress against individualised Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) targets.
* Facilitate the pupil's full access to a broad and balanced curriculum, adapting materials as required.
* Actively foster and promote the pupil's growing independence across all school activities.
* Develop and reinforce essential life skills, preparing the pupil for future success.
* Collaborate effectively with teaching staff and other professionals to ensure a cohesive support strategy.

About You
* Possess demonstrable experience in supporting young people with complex special educational needs.
* Hold a strong understanding of EHCPs and their practical application in a school setting.
* Exhibit exceptional patience, empathy, and resilience in challenging situations.
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills, capable of building rapport with pupils, staff, and parents.
* Be proactive, adaptable, and resourceful in tailoring support to individual requirements.
* Show a genuine passion for making a significant positive impact on a pupil's educational journey.
