We are seeking enthusiastic individuals for a variety of contract types, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, or permanent positions, offering a competitive daily rate of £90 - £115 with an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to primary pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
* Implement structured routines and predictable environments to foster pupil progress.
* Develop and utilise effective sensory strategies to support individual learning needs.
* Facilitate enhanced communication and social interaction skills among pupils.
* Collaborate closely with teachers and other professionals within the specialist ASD provision.
* Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing to their ongoing developmental plans.
About You
* Possess demonstrable experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ideally within a primary setting.
* Show a genuine passion for making a positive impact on young people's educational journeys.
* Exhibit excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with pupils, staff, and parents.
* Demonstrate a proactive and adaptable approach to varying pupil needs and classroom dynamics.
* Hold a strong understanding of different sensory needs and communication strategies relevant to ASD.
* Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.
