Key Responsibilities
• Deliver pre-prepared lessons effectively across a diverse range of secondary subjects.
• Maintain a productive and inclusive classroom environment in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Implement effective behaviour management strategies to support continuity of learning.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils under your supervision.
• Adhere diligently to individual school policies and procedures during your assignments.
• Provide clear and constructive feedback on student engagement and progress to relevant staff.
About You
• Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Demonstrate proven experience in managing secondary classrooms and engaging diverse learners.
• Exhibit exceptional adaptability and flexibility to thrive in various school environments and roles.
• Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one.
• Be genuinely passionate about fostering a positive and supportive learning experience for young people.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and staff.
