As an SEN Supply Teacher, you will provide crucial daily and short-term cover, delivering engaging lessons across adapted curriculum areas. Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and appropriate lessons to secondary pupils with diverse Special Educational Needs.
* Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet individual learning styles and support plans.
* Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, fostering pupil well-being and progress.
* Collaborate effectively with support staff to ensure comprehensive pupil assistance.
* Manage classroom behaviour consistently and positively, adhering to school policies.
* Provide continuity of education during teacher absences in various SEN provisions.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant experience working with secondary-aged pupils.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for supporting the educational journey of pupils with SEN.
* Have excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire a diverse range of learners.
* Be highly adaptable and resilient, thriving in dynamic and varied school environments.
* Hold a strong understanding of different Special Educational Needs and effective support strategies.
* Be available for daily supply and short-term assignments, often at short notice.
