About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a progressive school, offering vital support across the primary phase. This role involves providing invaluable assistance to pupils with their learning journeys, fostering an inclusive environment where every child can thrive, and offering specific support for special educational needs. You will play a crucial part in the daily life of the classroom, contributing significantly to a positive and engaging educational experience for all children.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide attentive support to pupils, individually and in small groups, to help them access the curriculum effectively.
* Assist the class teacher in preparing and organising learning materials and classroom displays.
* Support children with special educational needs, adapting approaches to meet diverse learning requirements.
* Promote positive behaviour and social interactions among pupils, upholding the school’s values.
* Contribute to the assessment and tracking of pupil progress, providing feedback to the class teacher.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils at all times, both inside and outside the classroom.

About You
* You possess a genuine passion for supporting children's development and learning.
* You have relevant experience working with children in a primary school setting, ideally with SEN exposure.
* You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport with pupils, staff, and parents.
* You are patient, adaptable, and able to respond effectively to varying classroom needs and situations.
* You are proactive and can work collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
* You hold a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
