About the Role
A progressive school in Chesham, Buckinghamshire, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 SEN Support Assistant to begin immediately. This vital role involves providing tailored, individualised assistance to a primary-aged pupil with complex special educational needs, which may include Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), or sensory impairments. You will play a crucial part in the pupil's daily learning journey, fostering their development within a supportive educational setting. We offer a competitive daily rate ranging from £85 to £110, with opportunities for long-term, daily supply, or permanent contracts.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide consistent and dedicated one-to-one support, promoting independence and engagement.
* Develop strong, positive rapport with the pupil, understanding their unique communication styles and preferences.
* Effectively implement personalised Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) targets, adapting strategies as necessary.
* Collaborate closely with external therapists and specialists, integrating their recommendations into daily practice.
* Create and adapt learning
