Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated 1:1 and small group support to primary pupils with SEMH needs.
* Implement effective de-escalation strategies to manage challenging behaviours constructively.
* Mentor pupils, fostering resilience and promoting positive social interactions.
* Cultivate strong, trusting relationships with pupils to support their emotional well-being.
* Assist teachers in creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
About You
* Possess demonstrable experience supporting primary-aged children with SEMH needs.
* Exhibit exceptional patience, empathy, and a calm demeanour in all situations.
* Hold relevant qualifications or training in SEN support, de-escalation techniques, or child development.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with pupils, staff, and parents.
* Be a highly resilient and proactive individual, committed to making a tangible difference.
* Possess a genuine passion for fostering positive outcomes for vulnerable young learners.
