You will play a vital role in maintaining educational continuity and delivering engaging cover lessons, ensuring every student continues to thrive even in the absence of their regular teacher. We are looking for dedicated educators available to start as soon as possible, with competitive daily rates ranging from £145 to £160.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects, ensuring all students remain engaged and on task.
* Effectively manage classroom behaviour, fostering a positive and productive learning atmosphere for all pupils.
* Adhere to individual school policies and procedures, upholding the highest standards of professionalism.
* Supervise students during lessons and non-contact time, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
* Provide constructive support to pupils, assisting them with their learning and understanding where appropriate.
* Collaborate seamlessly with existing school staff, contributing to a cohesive educational environment.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or significant experience as a Cover Supervisor within a secondary setting.
* Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills, capable of maintaining order and engagement.
* Be highly adaptable and resilient, comfortable working in diverse school environments.
* Exhibit a genuine passion for inspiring young minds and fostering a love for learning.
* Possess strong communication and interpersonal abilities, building rapport quickly with students and staff.
