Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and challenging Design Technology lessons to a diverse range of students.
* Inspire students to explore design principles, practical skills, and innovative solutions.
* Assess and monitor student progress rigorously, providing constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
* Contribute to the ongoing development of an innovative and practical DT curriculum.
* Maintain a safe, organised, and stimulating workshop environment in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues to enhance departmental success and share best practice.
About You
* You possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Design Technology or a related field.
* A genuine passion for DT and the ability to inspire and motivate young people is essential.
* You demonstrate proven experience in delivering compelling and challenging lessons, effective for all abilities (ECTs are welcome to apply).
* A commitment to continuous professional development and innovative teaching practices is integral to your approach.
* You exhibit excellent classroom management skills and a student-centred approach to learning.
* The capability to work collaboratively within a dedicated departmental team is highly valued.
