About the Role

Key Responsibilities
• Provide tailored support to pupils, individually or in small groups, to enhance their learning and development.
• Assist the class teacher in preparing engaging resources and maintaining an organised classroom environment.
• Contribute to the implementation of individual education plans and support strategies for pupils with diverse needs.
• Foster positive behaviour management, promoting a respectful and cooperative atmosphere.
• Supervise pupils during lessons, breaks, and extra-curricular activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to the class teacher and contributing to assessments.

About You
• Possess a genuine passion for supporting primary-aged pupils in their educational journey.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with pupils, staff, and parents.
• Exhibit strong organisational abilities and a proactive approach to classroom support.
• Be adaptable and resilient, thriving in a dynamic and busy school environment.
• Hold relevant experience working with children, ideally within a primary school setting.
• Committed to continuous professional development and contributing positively to a school community.
