About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a highly regarded school, specialising in primary education for pupils with complex learning needs. This vital role involves providing direct support to children with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), working both individually and in small groups. You will play a crucial part in assisting pupils experiencing challenges such as Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and speech and language difficulties, fostering their development in a nurturing environment. This immediate start opportunity allows you to make a significant impact on young lives within a supportive community.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support to pupils with EHCPs.
* Assist pupils with a range of complex learning needs, including ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
* Facilitate engaging learning activities, adapting strategies to meet individual pupil requirements.
* Collaborate closely with class teachers to support the delivery of an inclusive curriculum.
* Help maintain a safe, stimulating, and positive learning environment for all children.
* Contribute to monitoring and recording pupil progress, celebrating achievements regularly.

About You
* You possess proven experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs in a primary school setting.
* You demonstrate a clear understanding of various complex learning difficulties, including ASD and ADHD.
* You are an exceptional communicator, adept at connecting with young pupils and colleagues alike.
* You approach every situation with patience, empathy, and an unwavering commitment to pupil wellbeing.
* You are passionate about creating an inclusive educational experience where every child can thrive.
* You hold relevant qualifications or professional development in supporting SEN pupils.
