Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of primary aged pupils with SEMH.
* Implement effective behaviour management strategies, promoting a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
* Cultivate strong therapeutic relationships with pupils, supporting their emotional well-being and academic progress.
* Regularly assess pupil attainment and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
* Collaborate closely with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure a cohesive educational approach.
* Contribute to the development of personalised learning plans for each child within your care.
About You
* You hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a solid understanding of primary education.
* Demonstrable experience working with children who have SEMH needs is essential for this position.
* You exhibit excellent behaviour management skills and a patient, understanding approach.
* The ability to build rapport quickly and foster trust with vulnerable pupils is paramount.
