Key Responsibilities
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with diverse special educational needs.
• Assist teachers in creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
• Adapt learning materials and activities to meet individual pupil requirements.
• Monitor and record pupil progress, feeding back to the class teacher and SENCO.
• Foster positive relationships with pupils, promoting their independence and self-esteem.
• Support pupils' social and emotional development, facilitating their participation in school life.
About You
• Possess a genuine passion for supporting the development and well-being of primary-aged children with SEN.
• Demonstrate experience working with children, ideally within an educational setting, with an understanding of various special educational needs.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport with pupils, staff, and parents.
• Be patient, empathetic, and resilient, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Hold relevant qualifications or professional development in supporting pupils with SEN.
• Be adaptable and able to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
