* Deliver pre-set work and instructions clearly, ensuring students remain on task and understand expectations.
* Uphold a positive and respectful atmosphere, encouraging student engagement and independent learning.
* Communicate effectively with teaching staff regarding student progress and any classroom incidents.
* Supervise students during lesson times and ensure their well-being and safety within the school premises.
* Implement school policies and procedures consistently to maintain order and discipline.
About You
* Demonstrable experience of working effectively with young people, ideally within a secondary education setting.
* Possess strong behaviour management techniques and the ability to command respect whilst building rapport.
* Exhibit adaptability, resilience, and a proactive approach to varying classroom situations.
* Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with students and staff.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
* Maintain a professional demeanour and demonstrate a reliable work ethic consistently.
