We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable SEN Supply Teacher to join a ambitious school located in Central London, supporting primary-aged pupils with diverse Special Educational Needs. This role offers the flexibility of day-to-day and short-term supply cover, providing an excellent opportunity to work across various specialist SEN provisions. You will be instrumental in delivering high-quality, engaging education from an immediate start, ensuring continuity and progress for every child within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across a range of primary subjects, tailored to individual pupil needs.
* Implement effective teaching strategies to support pupils with varying Special Educational Needs and learning styles.
* Manage classroom dynamics positively, fostering an inclusive and nurturing learning atmosphere.
* Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants and other support staff to maximise pupil engagement and development.
* Maintain clear and professional communication with school leadership and colleagues regarding pupil progress and welfare.
* Contribute to the school’s ethos of promoting independence and self-esteem for all pupils.
About You
* You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
* Demonstrable experience working with primary-aged pupils with Special Educational Needs is essential.
* A flexible and proactive approach to adapting teaching methods for diverse SEN requirements is vital.
* You possess strong behaviour management skills, capable of fostering a positive classroom environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are required for effective team collaboration.
