About the Role
Embark on a rewarding long-term, permanent role as a Biology Teacher at a thriving secondary school, commencing in September 2026. Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and challenging Biology lessons across the full secondary curriculum.
* Design and implement innovative schemes of work that inspire scientific exploration and discovery.
* Assess pupil progress effectively, providing constructive feedback for continuous improvement and attainment.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every student feels valued and encouraged to participate.
* Contribute proactively to the wider school community through extracurricular activities or departmental initiatives.
* Maintain up-to-date subject knowledge and pedagogical practices in Biology to ensure high-quality teaching.

About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Biology or a related scientific field.
* Possess a genuine passion for Biology, capable of igniting enthusiasm and curiosity in young learners.
* Demonstrate a strong commitment to raising attainment and fostering a growth mindset in all pupils.
* Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a dynamic and productive learning space.
* Be adept at differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of all secondary students.
