The Role:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Year 5 Class Teacher who is committed to delivering engaging and high-quality teaching to pupils. You will play a key role in fostering a positive and stimulating classroom environment, ensuring the holistic development of each child. You will be supported by a collaborative team of teachers and staff who are dedicated to providing the best learning experience for pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum for Year 5.
- Assess and track pupil progress, providing feedback and support to ensure their continued growth.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes respect, curiosity, and a love of learning.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support the learning and well-being of each child.
- Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and school events.
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (preferably Year 5, but not essential).
- A strong understanding of the national curriculum and age-appropriate pedagogy.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Passionate about making a difference in children's lives and helping them achieve their full potential.
