Dunbar Education are looking to find a excellent Year 3 Teacher that can join one of our partnered schools within Bedfordshire in September.

This position is full-time and initially long-term with high possibility to turn into permanent.

The school has a Ofsted rating 'Good' and the Headteacher is extremely supportive with personal and professional growth within the school.

Year 3 Teacher

Main responsibilities:

  • Delivering Lessons in all subjects up too a high standard.
  • Giving effective feedback to the students throughout and relay to the parents (reflect on progress).
  • Safeguarding (Highly important) and knowing how to create a safe space for the student. Acknowledging and reporting when you notice something.
  • Creating plans for the lessons and participating in schools' events/extracurricular to extend work experience.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status and minimum of 6 months teaching in a Primary School (LKS2 ideally)
  • Able to plan and track a balanced curriculum
  • Establish relationships with pupils and other staff members
  • Encourage and motivate pupils in KS2 to achieve the best they can be!
  • Looking to take on extra responsibilities in the future
  • Can take the lead on an extra curriculum activity (desirable)
