KS2 Teacher

Job Description

Dunbar Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Telford for a 9-month fixed-term contract. This exciting opportunity is ideal for an enthusiastic educator eager to make a difference in the lives of young learners. The position will commence in September 2024 and will run through to the end of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the Year 3 curriculum.
  • Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation.
  • Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student development.
  • Managing classroom behavior effectively to ensure a safe and productive learning space.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Proven experience teaching at the primary level, ideally with Year 3.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
