Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Spanish Teacher to join a dynamic team for a fixed term from September 2024 to July 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Spanish across Key Stages 3 to 5, fostering a love for the language and culture among our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective Spanish lessons to students in KS3, KS4, and KS5.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Develop a curriculum that meets educational standards and encourages student participation and interest.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and encourages learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental meetings and school events.
  • Support students' academic and personal development through mentoring and extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in Spanish or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching Spanish at secondary school level, including KS5.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and the ethos of the school.
