SEN Teaching Assistant

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide focused support to a child with additional needs, enabling them to thrive in a mainstream classroom setting.
• Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO to implement effective strategies.
• Support the child's emotional, social, and academic development.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages progress and independence.

We are seeking candidates who:

• Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning (or equivalent).
• Have experience working with children, preferably in a 1:1 or SEN capacity.
• Are patient, understanding, and committed to inclusive education.
• Have excellent communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
• Are ready to embrace a varied and rewarding role in a mainstream school environment.
