Role Overview:
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide focused support to a child with additional needs, enabling them to thrive in a mainstream classroom setting.
- Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO to implement effective strategies.
- Support the child's emotional, social, and academic development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages progress and independence.
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking candidates who:
- Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning (or equivalent).
- Have experience working with children, preferably in a 1:1 or SEN capacity.
- Are patient, understanding, and committed to inclusive education.
- Have excellent communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
- Are ready to embrace a varied and rewarding role in a mainstream school environment.
