SEN Teacher - Special School in High Wycombe
Full-Time, Permanent Position

Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs?

We are seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join a special school in High Wycombe, where they provide a supportive, inclusive, and nurturing environment for children with a range of additional needs.

About the Role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet the needs of children with SEND, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and complex learning needs.
  • Work closely with a dedicated team of teaching assistants and therapists to support pupils' learning and development.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and positive classroom environment that promotes independence and confidence.
  • Develop individual learning plans (EHCPs) and track progress, ensuring each child reaches their full potential.
  • Collaborate with parents, carers, and external professionals to provide holistic support for pupils.

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent) with experience in an SEN or mainstream setting.
  • A strong understanding of SEND and strategies to support a range of learning needs.
  • Passionate about making learning accessible and engaging for all pupils.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A patient, resilient, and compassionate approach to teaching.
