PSHE Teacher - SEN Provision
Milton Keynes | Full-Time, Monday-Friday (8 AM - 5 PM) | £150-£200 per day
Are you a passionate and dedicated PSHE Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people with complex needs?
We are seeking a PSHE Teacher to join our specialist SEN provision in Milton Keynes, supporting boys and girls aged 12 to 18 years old. Our centre provides a safe and secure environment where young people can begin to address the significant challenges that have led to their placement.
About the Role:
- Deliver engaging PSHE lessons tailored to the individual needs of students, covering personal development, life skills, relationships, and emotional well-being.
- Support young people in building resilience, confidence, and positive decision-making skills.
- Work within a fully equipped education centre, delivering a structured curriculum alongside a dedicated team of educators and support staff.
- Foster a nurturing and supportive learning environment, helping students develop essential life skills for their future.
- Work closely with specialist staff, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to provide a holistic approach to education and well-being.
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching PSHE, Citizenship, or related subjects in an SEN, PRU, or alternative provision setting.
- A strong understanding of trauma-informed practice and the ability to support students with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
- A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to engaging young people in learning.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
