Position: Part-time Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) - Spanish and French
Location: Central Hampshire
School Type: Ofsted 'Good' 11-18 Mixed Academy
Recruiting Agent: Dunbar Education
Contract Type: Temporary, Part-Time (3 days per week)
Duration: January 2024 until the end of the school year (in the first instance)
Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience
Eligibility: Right to work in the UK is essential

Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of MFL to join a successful academy in central Hampshire. This role involves teaching both French and Spanish to students from Year 7 to Year 9. The successful candidate will be part of a supportive team committed to providing high-quality education and fostering a love for languages among young learners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Spanish and French for students in Years 7 to 9.
  • Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to enhance student learning and engagement.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to teach French and Spanish at the secondary school level.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire students.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK.
