Job Title: Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages (French & Spanish)

Location: Milton Keynes

Salary: Day-Rate to Scale: M1 - UPS3

Contract Type: Temporary Initially, with the Potential for Permanent Placement

Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (Full Teacher Responsibilities)

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and qualified Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages, specializing in French and Spanish, for a temporary role at a school in Milton Keynes. This position includes full teaching responsibilities, such as planning and marking, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective French and Spanish lessons to students across various year groups.
  • Take full responsibility for lesson planning, teaching, and assessment.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of the MFL curriculum.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their language learning journey.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental and whole-school initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Ideally, candidates will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Strong subject knowledge in both French and Spanish, with a passion for teaching languages.
  • Effective classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive and motivating learning environment.
  • A commitment to contributing to the school community and promoting high educational standards.
