Male Teaching Assistant - Islington (Education and Training)

Location: Islington
Pay: £90 - £105 per day (dependent on experience)
Hours: 08:30 - 16:00, Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP

Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the classroom? We are seeking a Male Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at a school in Islington. This role offers an excellent work-life balance with set hours from 08:30 to 16:00, 5 days a week.

About the Role: As a Male Teaching Assistant in Islington, you will support students across various learning levels, including working with children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Your role will involve assisting with classroom activities, providing one-on-one support, and contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

The school in Islington offers a collaborative and supportive atmosphere, where education and training are a priority for staff. Experience working in a school is preferred, but having previous experience working with children is essential. You must be willing to engage with SEND students to ensure every child has the opportunity to succeed.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working with children (essential)
  • Experience in an educational setting (preferred)
  • Willingness to work with SEND students
  • Valid DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
  • Availability for an immediate start
