Location: Village of Aldwincle

Salary: £95-£120 per day

Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Start Date: September

We are representing a vibrant primary school in the heart of Aldwincle, dedicated to providing a supportive and engaging environment for its pupils. As an HLTA, you will play a vital role in supporting our teaching staff to deliver high-quality education to our pupils. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons, support pupils with special educational needs and contribute to the overall development of the school.

Role:

We are seeking an Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full time basis to start in September.As the successful HLTA, you will be covering classes across all primary year groups as welll as running small intervention groups to support raising attainment.The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, working closely with teachers to deliver high-quality educational experiences for pupils.

You must be able to adapt teaching to cater for varied groups of pupils as well as being able to effectively manage behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Facilitate small group activities and interventions to enhance student progress.
  • Support students with special educational needs or additional learning requirements.
  • Help with the planning and organization of teaching materials.
  • Contribute to the school's values, goals, and overall mission.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 months UK education-based experience.
  • DBS check (or willing to undergo one)
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and Key Stage expectations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of the school environment.
