Position: Head of Science
Location: Oakham
Contract Type: [Full-Time/Permanent]

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Science department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning
- Develop and implement a challenging and inclusive Science curriculum for students aged 11-18
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, with a focus on raising attainment
- Provide support and professional development to Science staff
- Work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement whole-school strategies
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Science to students aged 11-18
- Proven track record of raising attainment in Science
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Previous experience as a Head of Science is beneficial
- Experience working in a SEN school is desirable and will enhance the candidate's application
