Location: Buckingham, North Buckinghamshire
Contract Type: Temporary (September 2024 to December 2024)
Salary: MPS/UPS (to scale) for qualified teachers; £120-£140 per day for unqualified teachers
Dunbar Education is representing a highly regarded non-selective secondary school in Buckingham, seeking a dedicated Teacher of Geography for a temporary position from September 2024 to December 2024. Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Provide effective lesson cover within the Geography department as required.
- Support students' academic progress and personal development through mentoring and pastoral care.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities related to Geography to enrich students' learning experiences.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent for teaching roles.
- Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Geography.
- Effective communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented school environment.
