The Role:

* We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our team.
* The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and have experience working with students in an alternative provision setting.
* You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective English lessons that cater to the individual needs of our students, helping them to achieve their academic goals and develop a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons that meet the needs of students with diverse abilities and backgrounds.
* Develop and implement individualized learning plans to support student progress.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and motivation.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
* Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support student well-being and academic achievement.
* Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education and SEN.

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching English, preferably in an alternative provision or SEN setting.
* Strong understanding of the challenges and barriers faced by students in alternative provisions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
