This school is an 11-18 Academy nestled in the picturesque village in the Chilterns in Buckinghamshire. Serving as the Lead School for Careers in Bucks, they are dedicated to fostering the growth and development of nearly 1100 students, including a thriving Sixth Form. Facilities:

  • The school boasts three well-equipped dedicated computer rooms fully equipped for teaching Computer Science and IT.
  • Additionally, they provide three bookable computer rooms accessible to other curriculum areas and students eager to learn.

Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Leadership: Oversight of the whole school Computing and ICT curriculum, and management of the teaching team and resources
  • Curriculum Delivery: Deliver engaging Computer Science lessons that captivate and challenge students.

  • Student Engagement: Foster a dynamic learning environment that encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity.

  • Assessment: Design and administer formative and summative assessments to track student progress and provide constructive feedback.

  • Curriculum Enhancement: Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Computer Science curriculum and ensure alignment with educational objectives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Teaching Qualifications: Hold a recognized teaching qualification with expertise in Computer Science.

  • Passion for Education: Exhibit a genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to students' academic success.
