Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Computer Science Teacher to join our team in Milton Keynes. This is a full-time, permanent position, starting in January. The ideal candidate will be passionate about computer science, with the ability to inspire and challenge students in their learning journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in Computer Science across various key stages.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
- Support students in both practical and theoretical aspects of computing, including programming, algorithms, and digital technologies.
- Assess, track, and report on student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Collaborate with the department to contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities.
- Participate in extra-curricular activities and support the wider school community.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification with a specialism in Computer Science.
- Proven experience teaching Computer Science at the secondary school level.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages, software development, and emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to raising student achievement and promoting the importance of digital literacy.
