Dunbar Education is seeking a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Milton Keynes. This is an excellent opportunity to provide essential support to students who need help managing their behaviour and engagement in learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with behavioural challenges, helping them develop positive strategies.
  • Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement tailored support plans.
  • Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils to encourage confidence and participation.
  • Assist with classroom activities and create a positive learning environment.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teaching staff.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with children with behavioural needs (school-based or similar setting).
  • Patience, empathy, and a strong understanding of behaviour management techniques.
  • A proactive and positive attitude to inspire and support young learners.
  • The ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents.
  • A relevant qualification (desirable but not essential).
