SEN/SEMH Maths Teacher
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons tailored to meet the needs of SEN students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team, including support staff, therapists, and educational psychologists.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, adapting teaching strategies where necessary.
- Manage behaviour effectively and promote a supportive classroom atmosphere.
- Develop individual education plans (IEPs) and ensure learning objectives are met.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with SEN students Strong subject knowledge in Maths with the ability to differentiate for a range of abilities.
- Patience, resilience, and a genuine commitment to helping students succeed.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students who may present challenging behaviour.
