Shaynie joined Dunbar Education in 2020, firstly working within our recruitment team, however, has recently made the move over to the world of compliance. Prior to joining Dunbar, Shaynie had 8 years’ experience in travel management, as well as experience as a Teaching Assistant in a SEN school for children with severe learning difficulties.
Outside of the office, Shaynie loves to go on holiday (aiming for 5 times per year), finding bargains in charity shops and going for long walks with her dog Bella.
Always with a bright smile, Shaynie is one of the most positive people we have in the office, and someone we are delighted to have in the team.

What I love about my role is ensuring the teachers are compliant before they begin their new roles.
My favourite quote is “No one is you, and that is your superpower”
If I was to win the lottery tomorrow, I would open my own tea room, because tea and cake solve everything.
If I were a superhero, my superpower would be to fly. That way i can skip getting stuck in traffic!
The best advice someone has given me is “Better to try and not succeed, than not to try at all”
