This specialist SEN setting offers an opportunity to build meaningful therapeutic relationships with pupils, expertly managing challenging behaviours while delivering engaging and accessible lessons. Key Responsibilities
* Deliver a creative and differentiated primary curriculum tailored to individual pupil needs.
* Design and implement effective support strategies for children experiencing SEMH challenges.
* Proactively manage classroom dynamics and challenging behaviours with positive intervention techniques.
* Cultivate a secure, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment for all pupils.
* Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team and external agencies to support pupil well-being.
* Accurately assess pupil progress, contributing to robust reporting and review processes.
About You
* You hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a strong commitment to education.
* You demonstrate significant experience working with primary-aged pupils with SEMH needs.
* You approach every situation with empathy, patience, and unwavering resilience.
* You are highly skilled in de-escalation strategies and proactive behaviour management.
