This pivotal role involves supervising classes across the secondary phase, ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the regular teacher. We are looking for an individual available for an immediate start, offering flexible contract options including daily supply, short-term, long-term, or even a permanent position, with a competitive daily rate ranging from £145 to £160.
Key Responsibilities
* Effectively manage classroom behaviour, ensuring a productive and respectful learning atmosphere.
* Supervise students undertaking pre-set work, offering support and guidance as required.
* Maintain the safety and well-being of all pupils in your care throughout the school day.
* Facilitate a positive and engaging educational experience during teacher absence.
* Report any significant behavioural issues or concerns to the relevant staff member promptly.
* Foster a supportive environment where students can continue their learning journey seamlessly.

* Possess prior experience working with young people, ideally within a secondary school setting.
