About the Role
A respected school in Essex is seeking a dedicated SEN Class Teacher to join their secondary phase immediately. This vital role involves delivering an adapted curriculum to pupils with complex learning needs within supportive small group settings. We are looking for an individual who can commit to various contract types, including long-term, short-term, daily supply, or permanent positions, offering a competitive daily rate ranging from £150 to £250, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Key Responsibilities
* Deliver a differentiated and engaging curriculum tailored to individual pupil needs.
* Implement effective strategies to support pupils with a range of complex learning difficulties.
* Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that fosters positive learning outcomes.
* Conduct ongoing assessment to monitor pupil progress and inform future planning.
* Collaborate closely with teaching assistants and other support staff to maximise pupil engagement.
* Maintain clear communication with parents and carers regarding pupil development.

About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrate experience in a secondary setting.
* Possess a proven track record of teaching pupils with complex special educational needs.
* Exhibit strong pedagogical skills and a commitment to continuous professional development.
* Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Be highly adaptable, resilient, and passionate about inclusive education.
* Be eligible to be paid at MPS or UPS equivalent, reflecting your experience and expertise.
