About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring Physics Teacher to join a flourishing school, commencing in September 2026. This permanent, long-term position offers the unique opportunity to shape the scientific understanding of secondary pupils across all key stages. You will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging and challenging Physics lessons, fostering a deep curiosity and appreciation for the subject. Key Responsibilities
* Craft and deliver stimulating Physics lessons that ignite pupil interest and promote rigorous scientific thinking.
* Implement effective assessment strategies to monitor pupil progress and inform future teaching and learning.
* Cultivate a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel empowered to explore complex scientific concepts.
* Actively contribute to the ongoing development of the Science curriculum and departmental resources.
* Inspire pupils to pursue further study and careers within Physics and the wider STEM fields.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the overall educational experience.

About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a strong academic background in Physics or a related scientific discipline.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for teaching Physics and inspiring young minds.
* Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning atmosphere.
* Committed to continuously improving your pedagogical practice and embracing new teaching methodologies.
* Possess the ability to differentiate instruction effectively, ensuring all pupils achieve their full potential.
* An enthusiastic team player who thrives in a collaborative departmental setting.
