About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic school environment, specifically within its specialist SEN provision. This vital role involves providing comprehensive support to secondary-aged pupils who have complex needs, ensuring they thrive academically and socially. You will be instrumental in assisting with the delivery of an adapted curriculum, fostering a supportive learning atmosphere, and actively promoting independence among our pupils. We are open to discussing various contract types, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, or permanent arrangements, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to secondary pupils with complex Special Educational Needs.
* Assist teachers in preparing and delivering engaging, adapted learning materials tailored to individual pupil requirements.
* Actively encourage and develop pupils' independence and self-help skills across various school activities.
* Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued.
* Support pupils' social and emotional development, guiding positive interactions and behaviour.
* Collaborate effectively with class teachers and other professionals to ensure a cohesive support system.

About You
* Possess a genuine passion for supporting young people with Special Educational Needs, particularly at secondary phase.
* Demonstrate previous experience working with pupils who have complex learning difficulties or additional needs.
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport with pupils, staff, and parents.
* Show a patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to daily challenges and pupil progress.
