Key Responsibilities
* Effectively manage classrooms during the short-term absence of teaching staff.
* Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure pupils engage with the assigned work.
* Implement the school's behaviour policy consistently to maintain a calm and orderly environment.
* Promote an inclusive and supportive atmosphere where all pupils feel valued.
* Respond appropriately to pupil queries and provide guidance as necessary.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils under your supervision.
About You
* Possess prior experience working with young people, ideally within a secondary school setting.
* Demonstrate strong behaviour management techniques and a confident classroom presence.
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with pupils and staff.
* Be highly adaptable and able to respond calmly to various classroom situations.
* Show a proactive approach to supporting pupil learning and school routines.
